How Geckos United started

I'm curious to know how the forum got started. Like who and why and how long ago. I don't know if that might seem dumb, but It would be nice to know.

Or did I miss where this information is located?

Well here's the story a long time ago i started posting on beardeddragon.org. Then they created Geckotopics I was the only administrator over there but the guy was so focused on his bearded dragon site that he never did what was needed of the site. So then i decided to do my own forum. At that point was when i created exotika. which was located at teamotss.com the only reason i used teamotss.com was because it was a spare site that i had but having a site with a different web address didn't make since. So at that point i decided to make geckos united (basically when i had the money for hosting and the domain name) unfortunately i was not able to work on this as much as i wanted to at the time so i took on a partner well that partner didn't work out so well. Then thats when i took on GeckoAdmin hes been great helping me out with everything taking care of all the stuff that needed to be done. And here we are but the main reason i did it was because i was tired of helping with a site going no where and wanted something for people to have that actually helped with what they were looking for along with a great community of friends and breeders to go to.

Some stuff even I didn't know in that I think we're getting beyond the hardest part now and the site is starting to properly take hold, which is great to see.

I agreed to help because I wanted the same thing, somewhere for people to go regardless of the species of gecko they owned with proper moderation and less fighting.
